Hitler Politics Alive in America

"The state must declare the child to be the most precious treasure of the people. As long as the government is perceived as working for the benefit of the children, the people will happily endure almost any curtailment of liberty and almost any deprivation. " From "Mein Kampf" by Adolf Hitler

Federal Government Sexually Abusing the Constitution

Letters to the Editor - Letters to the Editor

In response to a recent article, one writer commented:

A meaningful debate should exclude people such as Mark Lunsford and John Walsh. I say this because Mark Lunsford has absolutely no right to push for more stringent sex offender legislation since he was caught with child porn on his computer after his daughter's death. And John Walsh, in an interview with Larry King, admitted to being addicted to sex, but refused to reveal the ages of the ones he had been with. The ones that should be involved in a meaningful debate are the ones that pass these ignorant laws and those that the laws affect, including the offender and his/her family, (including their children). This has gotten way out of hand over the past several years and people are really suffering for it, especially the offenders's spouse and children.

Prison without walls in America

Letters to the Editor - Letters to the Editor

I was convicted in a military court in 1994 for indecent acts and liberties against my step-daughter. I served five years and eight months at Ft.Leavenworth. I was told that had ten years to register. Since that time, May of 2009 when I was due to done with registering the state of Oklahoma changed it to a lifetime registry. I have been a laws abiding citizen since my release in 1998.

The AWA is slowly taking away my life I have built. destroying relations with the people in my life. Causing me to live secluded from society. I got married to my second wife in 2002. And these sex laws is part of ruining that relationship. it went from job hunting to residency restriction. I'm afraid not able to keep my place of residency and my job due to lifetime registry.

I have served my time, finished my sentence in 1998, and served now over ten years on the registry. This AWA and other sex laws over the years is repunshing me for what i have already paid for. My rights are violated for a second chance in life and proof has been given to me that a reoffense is certaint. I need your support and legal help to fight for my rights. I have served my time.

Mr. W

Okla. 7-9 kids face sexual offender charges for sending nude photos to each other

Letters to the Editor - Letters to the Editor

A reader sent me the below.. if anyone can find a link to the story, please send it to us:

I'm not sure of what city this occurred in, but in Oklahoma on this mornings news the DA announced that since they 'have' to charge about 8 teen age kids for adult sex crimes because on of the girls took a nude of herself and this was mailed to her boyfriend to his friend and so on.

There are at least 7 and are expecting at least nine.  As retired LE, when you consider your state is "No longer under common law", if it's not written down it's not illegal.

Even if they have common law there, there sex laws were never intended to be applied to teen age or younger kids, and kids just growing up, except under extreme circumstance.  This was not the color of law.  This DA should be drug over the coals for this.

I hope you can make this a big nasty mess and they will not even prosecute.  My girlfriend sent me negatives of her from across the country, don't remember if we were 18 or not, but this is no different.  These laws have become draconian eventhough they are not that old.  They did not keep up with 'kids' being kids and technology.
